I would like to announce the annual February tournament of the Pinball Hall Berlin:

When: Saturday 23rd February 2019

Qualifying:3,5 hours head to head duels in swiss-system tournament style

-In case we are over 50 players, the best 8 geht a bye for the next two rounds and will skip the play-offs
Play offs:
-Players 9-40 continue in groups of four people, the arena games (from all eras) get randomly assigned each round
- after three games the best sixteen players will play again three games so that only 8 players survive who will reach the finals

Finals:
The 8 best players from the qualifying  will meet up again with the 8 best from the finals. Again three rounds will be played in groups of four players on random machines.

Crowning:
The four best players will qualify for the final. The player who reaches the best average on all three machines will win the tournament.

-Price is 20 Euros~ 200 Kronas, with catering and drinks included. But be aware! Drunken players will get disqualified =).

-We will most likley be forced to set the threshold to 60 players, because we cant set up a tent in February (too cold, mabye not for you Swedes but for us Central Europeans=))
The location can take more participants in spring, summer and  autumn.

WPI point: The tournment will be registred as an official IFPA event giving adding points to the world ranking list. The last winner did win approx. 35 WR points, so the tournament can also be attractive to more ambitious players who arent in the top 20 yet   Link:https://www.ifpapinball.com/tournaments/view.php?t=27738 .

In case you cant come on this particular date, know that you are always welcome in the Berlin Pinball Hall, and we are usually open every week Friday and Saturday 14.00-22.00 (for more details see website).
