Kristiania Flipperselskap are excited to invite you all to 5 days of pinball and fun in Oslo, 7th - 11th December 2022! The annual XMAS Matchplay tournament has been extended to include two pre-tournaments this year, and we hope that players will enjoy a long weekend with us here in Oslo.
The XMAS Main tournament is part of the European Championship Series circuit and will give every participants points towards their ECS standing, in addition to the Norwegian Championship Series of course.
Registration will open on friday 26th August, 10.00 (CET), and there are 40 spots available.

Group matchplay, 10 rounds. Top 4 players advance to finals, playing group matchplay on 3 games. Automatic tie breaks for everything, except 1st place.
Thursday 08.12: Death race (100 % TGP)18.00 - 23.00:
Target group matchplay with points 4-2-1-0, and the first 8 players who get 23 points advance to semifinals. Thats means minimum 6 rounds for everyone. Top 8 advance are split in groups of four and play three games. Top two advance in each group. Finals are played on three machines.
XMAS Tournaments:Friday 09.12: Warmup tournament (Stern army event) (100 % TGP)18:00 - 00.00:
The official XMAS warmup tournament is also our Stern Army Monthly tournament, with the chance to win some Stern Pinball goodies! 100 % TGP.
10 rounds of group matchplay, top 4 advance to finals playing 5 games.
Saturday 10.12: Main qualifications and side tournamentMain tournament
10.00 - 00.00:
We are excited that the XMAS Main tournament is part of the European Championship Series Circuit and will give points to your ECS standing. New of this year is that we will play the whole main to the end on saturday, with a leftover tournament being played in the evening.
The qualifications will consist of 6 rounds, with 3 games in each round, one from each era (EM, SS and modern). Top 16 players advance to playoffs.
Playoffs: Three rounds of group matchplay, each round consists of 5 games.Top two in each group advances to next. This continues all the way til the finals are done, and the XMAS champion of 2022 is determined!
Surprise matches will be played after food break, eight players are randomly drawn and places in two groups, each group playing a single classic game for the opportunity to win a prize!
Leftovers tournaments19.00 - 23.00:
Group matchplay for those still not done with pinball. Those who are out of main through evening can join. We do not guarantee 100 % TGP.
Sunday 11.12: Sunday Strikeout10.00 - 17.00:
If you after 4 days of pinball and little sleep still have the pinball fire burning, we will be hosting one last sunday strike tournament for all ye brave souls. It is important for us to be able to end at the scheduled time so people can get home in time, and we believe this schedule will hold.
This will be a progressive strike group matchplay tournament, with 10 strikes and a fair strikes system. That means that for each game the winner gets 0 strikes, 2nd and 3rd position get 1 strike and 4th position get 2 strikes. We continue playing until we have 8 player, which then advance to playoffs.
